This publication was created for the subject Typography for Print and Interactive Publication at Swinburne Online. The core problem addressed was the limited perception many tourists have of Japanese culture in Melbourne, often reduced to just sushi or hand rolls. My research included visiting a variety of Japanese establishments across the city, sampling their offerings, and capturing the experience through photography. Analysis focused on the diversity and authenticity of these venues, as well as how best to visually communicate these findings. The final outcome is a 22-page brochure, designed in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, that aims to broaden tourists’ understanding and appreciation of the multifaceted Japanese culture present in Melbourne. This brochure was then created as a website in XD (below), showing my versatility on digital projects: Japan in Melbourne
