This handbook was developed from a Swinburne Online assignment on 'Cradle to Cradle,' a design philosophy by McDonough and Braungart. The main challenge was encouraging designers to adopt sustainable practices that minimise waste. Research focused on Closed Loops, Upcycling, and Design for Disassembly, and how these principles apply in contemporary architectural design. The 64-page hardcover book compiles key findings and offers accessible guidance, enhanced with infographics and imagery. Printed in Melbourne in 2025 for Publication Design, it serves as a concise, practical resource for designers committed to sustainability.
